Christmas Lights Set to Music
One time MTV was doing a Madonna "make my video" contest, and I wanted to submit a video of an old guy mowing his lawn. No camera changes, just the guy going back and forth for 3 minutes. This is sort of like that, but faster and with lights.
William S Burroughs: Thanksgiving Prayer
William S Burroughs directed by Gus Van Sant. If anything this is more topical now than it was when it was filmed 19 years ago. Burroughs would have a field day with the current crowd in Washington.
Shingo Mama No Oha!
Odd Japanese dance number, presumably aimed at kids. The singer is a peppy guy in a pink dress surrounded by pairs of nurses, policemen, firemen, office workers, small children, people in animal suits, and an inexplicable cameo by the Godfather of Soul his own bad self: James Brown. There are a number of other appearances by people saying "Oha." Presumably these are Japanese celebrities.

Submission Guidelines
Reel America is a vlog devoted to short clips of real Americans in real settings. Too often it seems that we write each other off as part of a group, rather than as unique individuals with unique perspectives. This is an attempt to change that.
